I.
From the mire
of humming and frenetic swamps,
an ungainly advancement unfolds.

Caves crumble as the whites
of blinking feet
slow before the stride.

Sparks illuminate
acts of aptitude
and frame concurrent foundations. 

II.
Barbed hedges
fasten man in idyllic cocoons
where regret packs
fire in paper.

Rarity,
hostage to routine,
sleeps insentient.

III.
A waking hand,
preordained and personal,
sifts for faculty:
gather, grasp, gain, and grant
aeons prior to prospects hence.

Palm to palm,
birth bestowed and moments inscribed
from swamps frenetic, man
refining and refined.
