Remica
Bingham recently earned her Master of Fine Arts degree
in Writing and Literature
from the Bennington College Writing Seminars. She has
attended the Callaloo Creative Writing Workshops and
is a Cave Canem fellow. In addition to her first book
of poetry, she is working on a series of interviews with
African American poets. The first interview in this series, “Giant
Crickets Attacking America: An Interview with Tim Seibles,” was
published in the Fall issue of New Letters and her poetry
will appear in the 2005 issue of PMS.
Dmytro
Drozdovsky is a young poet from Odessa. He has
taken part in literary sections of the National Academy
of Sciences for youth and is the winner of next poetic
competitions: "Southern Lyre", "the Christmas
Meteoric Shower", " the
Golden Rose", “Poetry.Com” (USA), “Voices.net” (USA).
He hols a master's degree in philology in National
University “Kyiv-Mogyla Academy.
Douglas
Korb: earned a BA in English Literature
and Creative Writing from Warren-Wilson College in
Asheville, NC. He currently studies at the Bennington
Writing Seminars MFA program in poetry. Having lived
and taught abroad in Spain and China, he now works
in Manhattan as a volunteer program coordinator for
adult education and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Maurice
Oliver: After almost a decade of working as a freelance photographer
in Europe, Maurice Oliver returned to
America in 1990 to work for the Los Angeles Times.
Then, in 1995, he made a lifelong dream reality by traveling
around the world for eight months. But
instead
of taking pictures, he used the same acute
creative energy to record the experience in a journal,
which
eventually became dozens of poems. And so began
his ambition to be a poet. His poetry has appeared in
The
Potomac Journal, Circle Magazine, Tryst3 Journal,
Eye-Shot, The Surface, One Forty Two Magazine, Holy
Ignorance,
Bullfight Review, Taint Magazine, Somewhat
